AI-powered note-taking desktop app with Notion-like blocks, built with Next.js and Electron.
A desktop note-taking app that packages a Next.js app inside Electron. Notes are composed of blocks — tables, links, properties — and any selected text can be sent to an AI panel powered by Gemini, which streams answers about the note content back inline. Includes full-text search, an emoji picker, and app settings, all shipped as a native macOS app via electron-builder.

Packaging a Next.js standalone build inside Electron was the trickiest part — the standalone output omits `public/` and static assets by default, so a custom build script copies them back in before electron-builder runs. Streaming AI responses into a note UI without blocking typing also took a few iterations to get feeling responsive.
